Where the journey began…

From humble beginnings when traveling back in 2014, our co-founders at Parkos embarked on our journey to ensure that the beginning and end of your travel experience are as enjoyable as the actual adventure between!

We make airport parking a smooth, seamless and efficient process for all travelers using our TravelTech price comparison & booking platform. 

We started off by winning the major airports within the Netherlands and now operate in over 15 different countries and 3 different regions (and counting)! We’ve grown to over 120 Parkie’s and millions of travelers choose Parkos every year!

The team

Our Order & Payments team are responsible for managing our Global reservations and integrating with a myriad of different payment methods and platforms. They are also responsible for the backend development of our checkout pages. 

You will report into the Head of Product and will be the dedicated Product Owner of this vertical working closely with the Head of Engineering as part of an Orders & Payments team made up of 2 Developers, an Engineering TL, and a dedicated QA Engineer.

What you’ll do

• Implement and maintain PSPs through the introduction of high-quality logging & monitoring, fraud detection measures, and edge case handling relating to refunds, fraud, and cancellations

• Invoice generation for our partners with reliable & auditable systems, considering ‘buy vs build’ matters relating to billing and/or ERP systems, and dealing with legacy codebases and processes

• Become a subject-matter-expert in taxes and fees across multiple-regions and different regulatory standards

• Own our order management tracks by overseeing tooling for CS and Finance departments, introducing data & privacy controls, and introducing access controls and audit trails to ensure that we have auditable refunds and cancellations

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience as a Product Owner

• Previous experience gained in Finance/FinTech or from payment product teams in other large-scale environments such as eCommerce and SaaS

• A natural curiosity and an ability to deep-dive into the subject matter

• An analytical mindset that empowers you to make decisions based on insights and evidence

• A challenger mindset and an ability to come up with creative solutions that have wide-reaching benefits
